So I get a new bed from Ikea this weekend…… cute, cheap… but that’s not it….
The damned midbeam fell apart and I hit the floor. Okay so my sister and her friend were sitting on it with me but now I’m paranoid about the bed. Good thing I don’t have a man in my life right now…. we couldn’t cuddle (cuddle… yeah that’s it) without me being afraid to hit the floor. I think I fixed it, we’ll see

I know what your talkin bout. I use to go back about 10 years ago and their stuff was quality shit. You couldnt go to a store and find the unique furniture or atmosphere like Ikea-its that swedish contemporary feel. I swear nothing even close to that, maybe scan, but way too expensive in comparison to Ikea. Well, I stopped going for a couple years cause I dont need furniture, and bam, I recently went and ikea revamped their whole set up. Its like a damn human maze. Not only, people were catching on to their good quality at cheap price, and people started to flock from a afar to come buy! Not people fault, Ikeas fault for opening so many stores. In the DC metropolitan area, theirs three within a 40 mile dstance.

Hey, I follow. I am mother of 2 and have been going for a while myself. Its has become so ridiculously packed that I can’t take my kids through the maze. I have to drop them off at the daycare while I shop. Though, I must comment that their stuff is great…very child friendly. Their store in general is a great idea. Im glad they implemented the daycare while you shop deal. My family makes it a weekend outting since the kids love the daycare. Husband is not a big fan, but he loves just being able to have some adult time–just the two of us without the kids. This is the only time we are without them. Two thumbs up ikea. Love the changes, but regulate the crowds….crowd control!
